How to use DemandJump to create a powerful content outline to improve your SERP rankings.

Follow these steps to create a content outline in DemandJump.

Creating an Outline from a Consumer Insight Report

Whether you know what you’ll be writing about yet or not, running a Consumer Insight Report is a great way to see which keywords and questions you should include for a specific topic. From within that Insight Report, you’ll also be able to generate a content outline centered around a specific keyword or question. Here’s how:

  1. Log into your DemandJump account.
  2. Click the Research & Discovery drop-down menu.
  3. Select Get Topic Insights.
  4. Enter your Pillar Topic then click Generate Insights–it typically takes a few minutes for your report to generate.
  5. Open your Insight Report.
  6. Choose a topic from among your top keywords and questions.
  7. Click the Ellipsis next to your chosen topic, then select Write About This to generate your Content Outline–this may take a few minutes.
  8. Go back to the drop-down menu at the left of the page and click Manage Content, then select Content Briefs.
  9. Open your Content Brief.
  10. Your outline will recommend headings as well as relevant keywords to include and questions to answer.
  11. Choose what you want to include, delete the rest, and feel free to rearrange it to suit your needs.
  12. Get to writing quality content that engages readers and attracts customers!
